my stupid fucking wrist!

my wrist has been hurting me really badly lately. i hurt it in the gym last week and it's getting more and more aggrevated each day. and it's all because of home depot, and working in the paint department almost 4 years ago. the doctor's only tell me it's tendonitis, but i think it may be CTS (carpal tunnel syndrome). only because it always comes back, and it hurts more AFTER i stretch the bitch out. and it gets worse form lifitng weights, scanning shit in at work with the scan gun, using their gay keyboards, and certainly school doesn't help much. so i don't know what to do now. i guess i just have to live with it since the doctors are all idiots.

everyone knows i hate pc's and windows and whatnot. so, yeah, microsoft has created a "touch screen" computer, but...it's the size and shape of a coffee table??? now seriously, who wants something that large? everything in our consumerist world wants small! this thing is HUGE! and, since it's in the shape of a coffee table, it's stationary, and the screen is not adjustable. therefore, you're stuck looking down on it. that's not very comfortable is it? it is a great step forward, but it just doesn't seem practical. i mean, i like my screen at an angle so you're looking at it and kind of down at it at the same time. and this you're stuck looking down at it like you look down at your feet when you're standing up. that's not so very comfortable or good for your neck. and...what if someone used it as a coffee table by mistake? no good. but enough of that.

so doug and i finally found our place! it's nice, has an outside area and an enclosed area, and it's CHEAP!!! like $900!!! so we're happy. and it's actually in a park. so taht means they don't care what we do! it's off of weddington rd, the colonel francis j. beatty park. it's wonderful, and very pretty. it's right on a little point, and has a pond, a little trellis area. it's perfect. i just wish we were getting married before next october. maybe i can doug to push up the date...lol. oh well...i guess this it for now.

so, saturday, doug, ben, and i went to a shooting range. i kinda liked it, but it took getting used to. i still don't like the sound. and need to learn to not fear the recoil. i shot a glock 19, 9mm. doug shot it too, but then he moved up to a .45 taurus. i was not feeling that one. it was too big. they said the recoil is not as bad, but it was too big for me. but, it was fun. i need to get a pistol permit so i can get my own so i don't get raped when we go. i can get a conceal and carry for $175 for the class and such. but i'd either get a 9mm or a .38. but hey, we'll see. i'd like to go again though.

so, i gues i've just pissed doug off. and i'm pissed that he's pissed. i was at the gym, and i don't carry my phone around, because that looks gay and i don't wanna answer calls or text messages while i'm sweating and breathing rapidly, which some people may find hot, but i don't. he's mad because he was sitting at home since 3:30'ish waiting for me so we could go to the gym together. which is sweet, but he got all mad when i texted him that i was leaving. then i called, which i shouldn't have, and he was pissed but "there's nothing we can do about it now." so i dunno, i think it's gonna be a rough week based on that. and then i get home and i get the cold shoulder treatment and a "i'll be back in about 3 hours" shit. so...to make a short story even shorter, we're both upset at something that is completely stupid. i know he's probably pissed we're not spending time together on his birthday, but he kinda did the same to me on mine. but i just hope he's not so pissy when he gets back.

so there's this show on right now that i'm watching before i go grocery shopping, and it's about a giraffe giving birth. it's kind of disturbing, and looks none too comfortable. the mommy giraffe is just walking around with two little legs sticking out of her cooter. i'm glad humans don't go through that. but i'm gonna get cut open when we have kids. no stretching of the cooter or ripping, and no hernias.

i always thought that vacation was supposed to leave you all energized and you'd be ready to go back to work and shit...but apparently not. i'm all tired and shit now. it's terrible. i hate the place i work for. everyday i go in i want to rip my hair out. i'm so glad i'm going part-time next week, and then soon i get to be a cashier. thank god. i can't stand the service desk and the phones anymore. and it doesn't help that me and coleen do all the work. seriously. the department head walks around and half the time i don't think he actually does anything. he says he's going to help the expeditors on something, but i don't think he does. it fucking sucks and i'm glad i'm getting away from it. and the phones.

everything else has been going well though. after this past weekend's excursions, doug and i have decided we're going to eat healthy from now on and monday we're making a trip to bally's to add me onto his membership and get me a trainer so i'll actually get in shape again.

i have 2 more classes left, well, 1 is more like it. i hafta go into statistics tomorrow, but i don't have a test, that was yesterday. so i'm basically going in for 20 minutes to get my grade. woo. then i have conceptual illustration. then we leave.

i'm just excited to have a little more than a week off to have time for myself. like, i can get a pedicure today and not have to go to work. i don't have to get stressed out and worry about my chin exploding again. and the place has given me a spot of eczema on my wrist, which is dandy. it only shows up when i'm super stressed, which is weird, but it looks ugly when it comes. i had to go into rock hill yesterday, and was so excited! i filled up my gas tank with almost $16!!! and that was at one of the more expensive gas stations! if i was one the right side of the road and there wasn't a median, i could've gotten it at $2.25/gal. fuck that! i love SC, but for the cops. as soon as i crossed the state line on 77, there were around 5 unmarked cars that had all had people pulled over! what shit is that? so i had to go 60 the whole way there, seeing as that's the speed limit.

on another note, doug received an email from someone bitching about a blog i had previously written. which is funny and does make for some evidence that really supports the fact that this person is crazy. i did kinda point the finger at this person, but when doug told me some of this person's history regarding the matter, it does make for a probable cause. this person said doug wished he told them about the HPV shit, but guess what? there's no test for males, so there was no way for him to say anything about it. so it's probable it came from him, but it's not 100% it's from him. but, since it generally doesn't take 2 years for that shit to show up, it's more than 90% that is from doug. but, i hope we don't run into this person in NY, i don't want a scene caused at a party that is supposed to be a celebration, and i don't want to have to kick someone's ass and cause a brawl.

but other than that, everything's fine. i can't wait to go part-time so i can concentrate on school. i'll miss jack's this week, but it's so hard to go there when you've quit smoking when all the people you go with still do! oh well, i'll get over it. we received a catalog in the mail the other day from a place that makes invitations and party favors, so i've been looking through that as well as carolina bride. so many helpful pointers. i just wish we were getting married this year instead of next year. who knows, maybe we'll elope and then have the ceremony and reception next year! probably not, i want a day that is going to be all about me, and doug. but, we have the palce picked out, just need to put down a holding fee. we have already decided on what the party will wear. we've almost decided on decorations, and i think i'll use fake flowers for that and just have real flowers for us and the bridal party and groomsmen. we have a theme, black and white, so typical i know. i know what jewelry i want, what i want to ge the bridesmaids. doug is in charge of the cake, which really isn't all that scary. the wedding is going to be expensive, and that is the reason it's not going to be this year. that'll give us time to save and i'll be able to get a real job, and all that that nonsense. we figure it's going to cost around $12,000. UGH! oh well, it's ok. especially since we only plan on only getting married once. hell, we already have our children's names picked out. in fact, we did waaaay before we were engaged. but christ, i need to stop before i go on for another 10 pages.

i hate waiting

so i got out of print prouction at like, 9:30, and my nexy class isn't until 1. i hafta to finish my project for photography yet, but that only takes about 10 minutes. so what's the point?

anywho, me and doug are going to NY at the end of the week. we're throwing a soiree for ourselves and are paying everything but the drinks. you can ea tthe food and not pay, but we're not paying for your alcohol. leanne is coming too, which will be fun and interesting. let her see wegman's and the "thriving" metropolis that is syracuse. she mostly wants to meet drunk granny. but, doesn't everyone? so, that means no jack's this saturday, and no penguin.

but, other than that all is good. i think when we get back we're going to book the place we want to get married at. and we ned to change banks because doug is having issues and we may as well open a joint account. so, yeah, nothing spectacular going on.

is gonna be alright. everything came back ok, just mild changes. i still hafta go in every 4-6 months though. so, yeah...that's it.
